We do not expect our students to wear incorrect uniform in class, for example we do not expect to see: White or coloured trainers Hoodies Excessive jewellery, especially large hoop earrings Coats Jeans or tracksuit bottoms
Please ensure that your son(s)/daughter(s) are modelling the correct uniformat all times and cooperate fully with staff in school. A reminder about Jewellery, Pupils may wear studs in their ears but they will be told to remove their facial or visible body rings, studs or bolts. Please be aware that even the ear studs need to be removed when taking P.E. A maximum of 3 small rings only are allowed to be worn on the hands. Denim and caps should not be worn. We reserve the right to send pupils home and to discuss the matter of their dress with parents. Aprons are compulsory for Technology subjects and are provided. PE Clothing Years 7 and 8 - Girls and Boys- Black shorts/tracksuit bottoms

Years 9, 10 and 11- For Girls: Plain black shorts or plain black or grey jog-bottoms or leggings

General The PE uniform is white, black and grey. No other colours should be introduced into the clothing and all clothing must be named. Jewellery We strongly advise pupils not to wear any jewellery to school - if they do, we cannot be responsible for its safekeeping. However, pupils with pierced ears may wear studs. Those wearing other facial or body rings, studs or bolts will be asked to remove them. All jewellery must be removed during a PE lesson and some practical lessons - this is a Health and Safety requirement. A maximum of 2 small rings only are allowed to be worn on the hands. Make-up Recognising the trends in society, we allow make-up if it is discrete and tasteful: we are the judges of this, and may insist on removal of excessive or unsuitable make-up. Bicycles Pupils who cycle to school must:- ensure that they have parental permission and that the bicycle has been checked for safety
- ensure they have been granted a Bike Pass from Mr Wibberley
- leave their bicycles in the cycle rack provided
- take the responsibility for locking it securely: whilst the school takes reasonable care, it cannot
bear responsibility for this - use bicycles only for journeys to and from school: never to cycle inside the school gates
